Two Skyline Conference teams opened their seasons by capturing tip-off tournament titles this past weekend.  The Farmingdale State women, led by senior guard Kimberly Blakney, took home the championship at the New Paltz tournament.  The St. Joseph's men, led by senior forward Jermaine Russell, also captured the New Paltz tip-off tournament title, marking the second straight season that a Skyline men's team (Purchase last season) has won that tournament.
