Skyline Conference spring sports action shifted into high gear last week. Farmingdale State College senior Sean Maxwell earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors in men's lacrosse after recording seven goals and five assists in the Rams' first two games. Maxwell scored four goals as Farmingdale topped Oswego State in its season-opener.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Purchase College, SUNY junior forward Marvin Billups, the conference's leading scorer, was selected as the Skyline Conference Player of the Year in men's basketball. The Sage Colleges freshman forward Matt Farbotko earned Rookie of the Year honors while Yeshiva University veteran head coach Dr. Jonathan Halpert was chosen by his peers as Coach of the Year.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - For the second straight season, Farmingdale State College senior guard Kimberly Blakney was selected as the Skyline Conference Player of the Year in women's basketball. Blakney, the NCAA Division III leader in scoring and steals, led the Rams to their first-ever Skyline women's basketball title. SUNY Old Westbury freshman guard Krystina Agard received Rookie of the Year accolades while Farmingdale State head coach Chris Mooney and Mount Saint Mary head coach Randy Ognibene shared Coach of the Year honors.
