Matthews continued his torrid pace in a 1-1 week for the Rams…He contributed 25.0 ppg, 14.5 rpg, and 4.5 bpg while shooting 76% FG…Had 28 pts. (13-17 FG) and 15 reb. vs. league unbeaten SJC, and also had 22-pt., 14-reb., 6-block effort vs. Sage…Leads the nation in rebounding (14.8) and double-doubles (11)

Jen Mocanu – Mount Saint Mary

Mocanu helped keep the Knights undefeated in league play with 2 standout efforts…She led the team with 23 pts. in a win over Sage and then poured in 26 vs. CMSV…She hit 58% of her FG and added 2.5 rpg, 3.5 spg, and 2.0 apg
Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Megan Bowman – The Sage Colleges
Fr, G, Saranac, NY/Saranac HS
Bowman continued her standout rookie year in a 1-2 week for the Gators…She averaged 10.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 5.3 apg, and 3.0 spg.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Censi Danner – Mount Saint Mary
Sr., Saugerties, NY/Home School
Danner continued her stellar season by winning all four of her individual events last week…In a league win over CMSV, she captured both the 50 free (26.75) and 100 free (58.80)…Against Elms, she won both the 50 free (29.10) and 100 fly (1:12.06)
Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week
Janet Marmol – Old Westbury
Fr., Syosset , NY/Curtis HS
Marmol led the Panthers to a victory over Brooklyn with three triumphs…She won the 200 IM (2:37.57) and 100 breast (1:23.75), while also contributing to a win in the 200 free relay (2:01.65)
Men's Swimmer of the Week
Conor Dowd– Mount Saint Mary
So., Massapequa, NY/Massapequa HS
Dowd netted points in all six of his individual events for the week…He won two events in a league win over CSMV, the 100 breast (1:16.52) and 1000 free (12:23.14)…He also added three 2nd-place finishes and a 3rd during the week

Bryan Woodhead – Old Westbury

Woodhead keyed a Panther win over Brooklyn with 3 victories…He won both the 50 free (21.72) and 100 free (47.97), while also helping with a win the in 200 medley relay (1:47.56)
