Throggs Neck, NY - Junior Lauren Becerra set three individual records and Mount Saint Mary shattered conference records in a pair of relays events en route to capturing its fourth consecutive title at the 2015 Skyline Swimming Championships (Jan. 30-31) at the Riesenberg  Aquatic Center on the campus of SUNY Maritime.

On the men’s side, senior Collin McNamara won a pair of individual events and swam on both of Maritime’s winning relays as the Privateers secured their eighth consecutive Skyline crown.

Becerra claimed gold while shattering league records in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.61), 1,000-yard freestyle (11:12.68) and 500-yard freestyle (5:26.89) events and earned Skyline Swimmer of the Year honors for an unprecedented third time.  The junior from White Plains, N.Y., swam the anchor leg on the Knights’ record-setting 400-yard freestyle relay (3:51.29), while MSMC opened the Championship on Friday evening with a meet-record time of 1:55.73 in the 200-yard medley relay.
