Men's Basketball - Player of the Week
Andy Laurent – St. Joseph’s-Long Island
Junior, Guard, Amityville, NY/Amityville
Filled the stat sheet with game-high 27 points, along with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals in season-opening, overtime setback at York (NY)…sent the game to the extra session with four points in the final 1:20 of the second half, including the game-tying jumper with 1:10 to go.

Andrea Iavarone – St. Joseph’s-Long Island
Sophomore, Forward, Miller Place, NY/Miller Place
Picked up a double-double with 24 points (7-for-14 FG) and 13 rebounds, while adding six blocked shots in the Golden Eagles’ season-opener against Staten Island.
Genevieve Schoff – Sage
Sophomore, Forward, Little Falls, NY/Little Falls
Was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Keene State Tip-Off Tournament…averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game…shot 12-for-25 from the floor (3-for-5 3FG), while knocking down 13-of-17 free throws (.765).

Kayla Cleare – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Center, West Hempstead, NY/West Hempstead
Finished just shy of a double-double in the low post in the Knights’ season-opening win at Alfred…scored 17 points (8-for-9 FG) while adding nine boards, two steals and as many blocked shots.
Men's Swimming - Swimmer of the Week
Cameron Martinez – Sarah Lawrence
Senior, Aledo, TX/Aledo
Martinez set the SLC school record in the 500 Free (5:08.34) against Mount Saint Mary…also placed first in the 200 Free (1:55.06) and 200 Fly (1:57.69) against the Knights.
Men's Swimming - Rookie of the Week
Preston Truong – Maritime
Freshman, Austin, TX/Round Rock
Won the 200 Free event by more than 12 seconds with his time of 1:51.07 against Old Westbury…also placed first in the 100 Fly (55.68), and was on the victorious 200 Free Relay squad (1:35.41).
Women's Swimming - Swimmer of the Week
Kim Mazza – St. Joseph’s-Long Island
Senior, Bohemia, NY/Connetquot
Won a pair of individual races against Hunter College…touched the wall first in the 200 Free (2:14.26) and the 100 Free (1:01.70)…also teamed up on the 200 Free Relay squad (1:56.56).
Women's Swimming - Rookie of the Week
Harley Illingworth – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Northfield, NJ/Mainland Regional
Won all four individual races on the weekend for the Knights…in a tri-meet against Purchase and St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn, won the 200 (2:04.75) and 100 (57.95) Free events…versus Sarah Lawrence one day later, emerged victorious in the 400 IM (5:14.44) and 500 Free (5:39.54).
