Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Zach Schreck – Montclair State
Junior, Midfielder, Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central HS
Schreck tallied five goals on 10 shots – including the first four goals of the match - as Montclair State improved to 3-0 with a 12-3 win over Vassar in the Red Hawks’ lone contest of the week…added two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
Rob Lalli – Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Midfielder, Tuckahoe, NY/Eastchester HS
Lalli scored five goals and dished out three assists while amassing a match-high 14 shots on Mar. 7 as Mount Saint Vincent dropped an 18-17 decision to Cobleskill…added a pair of ground balls and won 6-of-13 faceoffs.
Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Katie Gattoni – Mount Saint Mary
Sophomore, Attack, Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Regional HS
Gattoni amassed 15 points on 14 goals and one assist, along with six ground balls, two draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers thru the Knights’ first three contests of the season…tallied seven goals on nine shots on Feb. 28 as MSMC earned a 14-10 win over Ramapo…scored five goals – including the game-winner – and added five ground balls as the Knights edged Saint Vincent on Mar. 5, 13-12 (OT)…had two goals on eight shots on Mar. 2 in an 18-8 loss to Kenyon.
Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
Kayla Carigliano – Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Midfielder, Clarkstown, NY/Clarkstown North HS
Carigliano scored three goals on three shots as Mount Saint Vincent fell to Manhattanville on Mar. 7, 17-10…added four ground balls and four draw controls…netted a pair of goals on six shots with four ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers in the Dolphins’ 16-2 loss to Gwynedd Mercy on Feb. 28.
Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
Justin Feigeles - Ramapo
Freshman, Outside Hitter, Bellmore, NY/Bellmore JFK HS
Feigeles averaged 4.17 kills and 2.0 digs over 12 sets with a .336 attack percentage in a 2-2 week for the Roadrunners…compiled 12 kills and six digs on Mar. 8 in a 3-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent…registered nine kills and hit .533 in just two sets in a 3-0 victory against NJCU on Mar. 8…had a match-high 20 kills and added nine digs on Mar. 4 in a 3-0 loss to Stevenson.
Men's Volleyball Rookies of the Week
Bailey Cecchi - Sage
Freshman, Outside Hitter, Agawam, MA/Agawam HS
Cecchi averaged 3.57 kills and 2.43 digs over seven sets on Mar. 8 as Sage posted wins over both Sarah Lawrence (3-0) and Yeshiva (3-1)…had 12 kills and 10 digs against Yeshiva…recorded 13 kills and seven digs versus SLC while hitting .348 on the afternoon…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second time.
Tuvia Marks - Yeshiva
Sophomore, Middle Blocker, Los Angeles, CA/YULA HS
Marks hit .475 over seven sets as Yeshiva split a pair of matches on the week…the first-year performer had eight kills, three blocks and a pair of digs on Mar. 8 in a 3-1 loss to Sage…recorded a match-high 13 kills without an error on 24 attacks in the Maccabees’ 3-0 win over Sarah Lawrence.
