2013 Season Highlights: Has been named the ECAC Metro Region Player of the Week once, Skyline Player of the Week twice and earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll three times…earned first-team All-Conference distinction...ranks third in the Skyline points (51) and goals (20) and her 11 assists are tops in the league...has three game-winning goals...ranks among the national leaders in points (ninth), points per game (23rd), goals (13th), goals per game (25th), assists (16th) and assists per game (36th)…set career-highs as a senior in goals (20), assists (11), points (51), game-winners (three) and multi-goal games (seven)…totaled a career-high four assists while scoring a hat trick to record 10 points against NYU-Poly on Oct. 31…her 20 goals are a program single-season record, while Old Westbury's 13 victories are tops in program history...became the second Panther in program history to eclipse the 50-goal mark when she scored her 17th goal of the season on senior day versus Purchase on Oct. 28.
Career Highlights: Earned 2010 Skyline Rookie of the Year honors and first-team All-Conference distinction...named All-Skyline second-team as a sophomore and first-team as a junior and senior….twice named Skyline Conference Player of the Week...played in 80 of 81 games in four seasons, making starts in 79 matches...all-time program leader in assists (32) and ranks second in points (138) and goals (53)…career totals of two 10+ point performances, 16 multi-goal games, six multi-assist games, four hat tricks, and six game-winners...as a junior, Kettell led the conference in assists (10) while ranking third in points (34) and shots (74) and fifth in goals (12)…Kettell led Old Westbury to the Skyline Tournament all four years, advancing to the semifinals the past three seasons...member of ECAC Tournament teams as a freshman and sophomore.
In The Classroom: Kettell is Finance major and was named to the Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll in all six semesters in addition to being named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll twice.
On Campus: JoAnna has held the position of president for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for the past three years…became Old Westbury’s first ever attendee at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in 2013
Did You Know? JoAnna and twin sister Cristina recently took the field against younger sister Desiree of NYU-Poly on Oct. 31.
